We saw Revenge of the Sith
I'll write more later but I just have one thing to say. It's a bit of a spoiler so you'll have to click on the ... to see it.
I don't have droids to do my work, and I can't fly all around the galaxy to other planets, but we knew darn good and sure I was having twins by the time I was nine weeks pregnant. How could Padme not know? Come on...

Who says she didn't know? Nobody asked her beforehand, "Hey Padme - I know you're all in your death throes and all, and your hubby just slaughtered half the population of Coruscant and now looks like what happens when I leave the bacon on the grill too long, but...just had to ask. You got one or two younglings-to-be cooking in there? Oh, sorry. Didn't see you spasming in mental anguish and emotional agony there. I'll ask later..."
I thought of that. But, she did keep referring to it right up to the end as "the baby."
I even wondered if she didn't get any prenatal care since she was trying to hide her marriage, so thus her pregnancy. But, I figure there must have been some droid OB/GYN she trusted. I think it was just a plot hole there was no way to hide and had to be left open for Darth Vader not to know about Leia.
Mmmm, bacon.

Hey Jen (from the other Jen, the one in Louisville) -- thanks for stopping by my blog! You can see that knitting is a disease for some of us ... take care!
I have to agree with Jen (in a different post); WHY did Padme just curl up and die after the babies were born? Maybe if she really didn't know she had twins, seeing the two of them born might have done her in??
Hi other Jenifer!
Sheri, that's so sad. You've talked about Grace before and I'm always glad you can share about her. That just shows my point, even with our comparatively benighted technology they had a good idea of what was going on with you.
Julie, I just don't get that! Ani obviously turned out to be a complete loser, but she's not the first person to finish out a pregnancy without her guy. Most people don't just fold up shop at that point. Weird.

Well, when you realize the boy you fell in love with just betrayed the entire galaxy, killed a bunch of kids and probably kicked a kitten on his way out the shuttle, you probably feel pretty stupid and gullible...
I agree, Barry, she had to feel pretty let down. It probably WAS the kitten that was the final straw.
