Pray for us all!

We're having a fondue party, which means that for the majority of the evening the children will have access to pointy sticks and fire.

Also, we're apparently already committing a Fon-don't by serving two kinds of fondue at one meal. Whatever.

Comments:
You are a braver woman than I!

Actually, when we went to Switzerland we had a fondue dinner and had two separate types...so I think you're good to go! Hope you all have fun!

The only time I had fondue at a restaurant (not in Switzerland, I'm not that cool) we had two kinds of fondue. I think these people are just being stupid.

My family used to have fondue every Christmas Eve. It was not complete until we had a cheese, meat AND chocolate course. Just space it out and everything settles down from the previous course to make room for more!

p.s. It is also great for kids because you can let them run around in between bites (sans forks)and when they are too busy to come back and eat (more for you!) Nothing a PB&J cannot fix later on! heheh >:)

So, how did it go?

Could you stop by my blog and give me some ideas for classes for my co-op? Julie pointed me in your direction. Thanks!

When we ate at the Melting Pot we had the cheese course, the meat course and then the chocolate course too. Don't know what these people are saying...

Wish I had known before hand, you could have borrowed my fondue pot and had another course.

We only use it for my chili-cheese dip recipe anymore as I don't think to do it for chocolate and for dinner it's just too much!

my favorite part is bananas dipping in chocolate fondue ... or maybe marshmellows... ohhh good (homer drool)

As a long standing member of the Fondue Federation, I have to say, "How dare you, ma'am. Two kinds of fondue in one sitting? How dare you."

Who sits down and comes up with these rules?

I don't know who comes up with the rules, probably someone with way more time than I have!

We had two kinds of cheese, and a yummy chocolate/almond for dessert. It was very nice but I don't think you realize how much you're eating when you eat fondue because it just seems like snacking. There was definitely a point where I wanted to kick everyone out, take off my clothes and just go to sleep...

I read the rules and it said that you were supposed to serve wine. Some how I think you broke that rule also.

We had many nice varieties of soda and Kool-aide, as well as wine coolers and beer. I think they would be ashamed of us.
