Casket in a tree
There are a lot of things being found after Hurricane Rita, yikes!
Unless this thing is brand freaking new, I don't want to be anywhere near it when they get it down...

I had heard prior to Katrina & Rita that some feared that flooding would unearth caskets. That's the first I've heard of it actually happening.
Your post below and the picture of you with your protective armour just cracked me up!!

The same thing happened here during the 72 flood caused by Agnes. All the graveyards along the Susquehanna were washed out and the caskets were found as far as 20 miles downstream. Worse were the older graveyards -- you know, pre casket. Bodies just wrapped in shrouds and such. Made quite a mess. They had to ID all of them and rebury them.
