I love it!

Talk about a good self image, huh?
Good for them! Those slogans should be girl-cotted. Our teenaged girls have enough to deal with as it is. For them to value boobs over brains and to de-value brunettes in just sad. They are trying to be humorous, but their stuff often goes over the edge.
I've never spent a penny on their clothes, and I don't plan to. I'm sick of any company who tries to sex up our kids.
we don't even have that store here, i don't think i've ever noticed their print ads in any of the magainzes i read either.
"The teen-oriented apparel company...said in a brief statement that "We recognize that the shirts in question, while meant to be humorous, might be troubling to some."

Yeah, that's how you know they're really sorry and get the message. Might be? Hrumph.
Right. The best way to fight the retailers who are sexualizing our children is by not buying their products. I don't like the publicity their stunts invariably generate.
Right On!-I didn't releize they had a girlie-cott happening-good for them..

I hate that all these retailers and manufacturers are making this crap- I call it Baby Skank! My Jillybean is a Tomboy and dresses in just plain clothes-we get such grief by people because she's not "more Girlie"-I don't want her wearing most of this stuff nor do I want to but it there! I say-put a stop to Baby Skank-sorry to rant on your blog....i'll go away now...:)
