Remember When?

I saw this at over at Jamie Dawn's and couldn't resist.

Post a comment here with a COMPLETELY MADE-UP, FICTIONAL MEMORY OF YOU AND ME.

It can be anything you want--good or bad--and can include fellow bloggers, if you wish. (Keep it within a PG rating, please.) I'm anxious to read about our fictional past!

I encourage you to do this on your blog, so I can post some made-up memories about you too! For instance, I'm sure Jamie Dawn had forgotten all about the time we spent in the SLA after she was kidnapped...

Comments:
Are you sure that you didn't see this on my blog first and then get brainwashed into thinking that you saw it on Jamie Dawn's blog instead?

I know that there's been some time travel or brainwashing going on because your blog says that you posted this tomorrow at 12:19am and I'm posting on the 9th at 10:56pm. ne ne ne ne

okay, I can do a better memory than that...

it was 1985... I had just graduated from (as you called it) "that looser school" and you were just a "looser freshman" and we decided that we should go to that Paul McCartney concert on the beach. And how all our friends thought we were square for still likeing Paul instead of Flock of Seaguls...but what could beat a beach party with cool toons?

So we get ready to go and we have to get my mom to drive us 'cuz she wouldn't let me get my license yet and you weren't old enough yet...which meant that my mom was at the concert too but she was kinda cool about it. She only whined about the pot once...'cuz it was your stash, but she didn't know that...smoking ciggies has ruined her sense of smell, thank goodness!

I still have my t-shirt, do you?

No, I totally don't have my T-Shirt, dude! I sold it on eBay. I have to pay for yarn somehow!

Don't you remember when we found that time machine and we both went back in time & eliminated this "Remember When?" idea from Jamie Dawn's mind... wait, how am I posting this if we did that? I hate temporal mechanics!

Jen, we were both at Starfleet Headquarters when you suggested that you never liked Klingons. As it was an dinner in honour of the Klingon high Command, it was very embarassing.

We both had a laugh about it afterwards, though!

Sheri, that was so embarrassing when the paramedics came with the jaws of life and everything. At least it was a CLEAN thong.

cube, you're right, temporal mechanics can be very slippery...

Captain, I've been trying to forget that! To this day, the woosh of a bat'leth drawn in anger still makes me feel all queasy inside.

That was a great night, BSTS. Do you still keep up with Matt? I just got Ben and Jen's birth announcement, I thought the same thing about the name. I wonder if she knows?

I had forgotten all about that. I think I had selective amnesia about that whole SLA thing. Now, I'm really traumatized because you brought all those memories back to my mind. We sure kicked butt back then!

I remember when you and I went shopping for our husbands for Father's Day. We went to Barnes and Noble and we each left with three books for ourselves and a couple of CD's for our kids. Then, we went to Target, and I got the cutest shoes and you got a gorgeous blouse. We had lunch at Applebee's then decided to go to the mall. We had our hair and nails done and then got free makeovers at Macy's. We had sexy pics taken at Star Shots and decided to give those to our hubbies for Father's Day. That was one of the best days ever!

Hey hey, remember that time we got together to watch glue dry? And then we had a great time watching that pot come to boil!!! It was just sooo much fun! And then we went to the 'real world'.

It seems so long ago that I gave you that little bump so I could get ahead of you on that ski lift. I'm sorry you fell but I did see you later skiing down the slope so I assumed you were OK. Do you remember me now?
Peace...........
Off topic: When rockers or anyone dies so young, it normally due to unnatural, often tragic events. Don't think the site was trying to make any point about the lifestyle of musicians although I could be wrong.

Jamie Dawn-You're right, that was a GREAT day, we should do that again soon :-)

Trinity13-Those things are only fun with fun people like you!

Helen-That was you? Oh, yeah... I was OK, actually I won a medal for the triple flip I did off of the lift and now I travel and jump from ski lifts for a living, so it was a big boost to my career!

Jen, those gloves were a gift for someone else ;)

Remember that time that we worked for the CIA and got these fabulous red catsuits to wear--and then decided to blow off that job to go to the movies. And got hit on by those nice Russian chess players? Ah, good times. Good movie.

Too true, R2ks!

Hey there! Thought I would swing by! Hope your weekend was nie!

Jen, remember when we went to that Star Trek convention and I dared you to pants Jonathan Frakes? He wasn't terribly happy about it, especially since it was in front of 2000 people. And remember that girl in the front row who yelled, "Now we know why they call you Number 2"? That was funny!

Hi, Harmonia!

Jana, thanks so much for putting up bail after that! I was getting a lot of crap in the holding cell for wearing my Starfleet uniform...

Ah Renee, I mean Jen! How could I forget your bravery as you testified against those mafiosi in NYC? I can't. I still can't believe you did that. But you did and you got the bad guys behind bars. Too bad the Witness Protection Service had to whisk you away to Florida, thence to Colorado, to begin your new life.

But I guess I spilled the beans again. Sorry!

I was trying to leave a non-anonymous post but blogger doesn't like me today.

It's Lori...LORI! What do you mean you don't remember me? I'm so hurt! We're like sisters. Hey, we are sisters. Don't you remember? Separated at birth? We just found each other again and now blogger won't let me even be anything but anonymous.

Waaaaaa!

funny... I have mafiosi in my family and I've lived in FL & CO to begin a new life... but I don't know anyone named Lori... well, except for my almost SIL... Is that you Lori?
