I pray that it will be over, but for the families it will never be over.
My MIL told us that after FIL died a widdow friend of hers told her "It never gets any better, it just gets different." And MIL agrees with her now after 5 years.
I feel sorry for DD who doesn't remember her grandfather...but I feel worse for the kids who lost their parents/grandparents/aunt&uncles on 9/11.

I don't think the people who lost loved ones will ever be done mourning. But, continuing to find remains over and over must just rip those wounds wide open each time.
What a complete mess.
What a complete mess.
To this day I can't watch a movie that has the Twin Towers in it without feeling like I've been punched in the solar plexus. It will never be over.
No.
We are among the few groups of people who actually live through history and recognize that our lives have been irrevocably altered.

I think blogger ate my comment. I was reading on this blog that there are remains of WTC victims being kept in landfills. It made me sad. I think they should release them to families and let them have their closure. I know I would want closure.
