I found the camera!
Yay!
This is our camper right after we set it up, in a brief respite from all the rain. You can see what I mean about the campsite being treeless. One of the ladies camping with us said, "It's like being on the moon!"
So, as I told you, there was a lot of rain. I couldn't really get a good photo of it, so this will have to do. Imagine, this was our view probably 80% of the time:
So we spent a lot of time goofing off inside the pop-up. Here are the kids trying to pass some time around the table (which, of course, doubles as a bed):
As you can see, Fritos can be good diversion even when they're not used as food:
And here are a couple of shots of Davin and I enjoying Pop Tarts:
and
So, I can't wait to get back out with my family, and hopefully less precipitation! And, I found my Stephen King book and my purse, too, and finished up all the laundry, so I think the horde is officially as back to normal as we'll ever get.

You forgot one thing: "And a good time was had by all!"

RYC2: I made her a Texas Longhorn dishcloth (in white instead of the requisite burnt orange): http://www.flickr.com/photos/kayleenknits/295951494/
and a Grandmother's Favorite (in black...black and grey were their kitchen colors): http://www.jimsyldesign.com/~dishbout/kpatterns/grfavorite.html
I thought I'd made her 2 GF's but I couldn't find them to mail. Oh well!

It looks like lots of fun despite the heavy rain (which should come my way otherwise all my plants will die and my garden will look as empty as your campsite!)
Here via Miss Wings. Hi! it's been a while :)

Wow! The pop up looks fab...the rain...not so much. But at least you had a place to hide out. I hope we can go camping w/ no rain soon.
Rain is good if you don't have to water your lawn. But not good for camping. Thank goodness for the Fritos and the Pop Tarts. Who says processed food has no value?
It does look like a fun time, even with the rain. We're taking our pop-up out again this weekend, but my parents will be there with their RV, so if it rains, at least we can run there and watch TV!
Woow, I'm glad you found your camera and I do love camping like this - out in the nature having a good time. Just like a normal Norwegian vacation life you know:-)
Looks like you all had fun despite the rain and the good news is the pop up worked and didn't leak. That would have made every thing horridly wet.
Glad to hear you had a successful test run with the camper.
