Ooh, 'Pooky!

That's retro twinspeak (from when they were 3 or 4) for "spooky."

Check this out, Stanley Hotel Historic Ghost Tours!

There's a really good article about the Stanley over at Wikipedia, if you recall, it was the inspiration for Stephen King's The Shining, which is one of my favorites.

Doesn't that look like fun? Let's all go!

It's lovely there. Not too spooky, which is a little disappointing.

If you go during the elk rut season, you can head up into the park and check out the elk.

Ooo, that looks fantastic! And only $10 for a tour - what a deal!

I read The Shining when I was about 15, and it scared me to death! No ghost tours for me, thank you... but the Stanley Hotel is beautiful! :)

Oh, that sounds like some pooky fun!!
I'd LOVE to go.
Can we spend the night there without any lights on and without flashlights??
Oooooooh!

We should go do that, but stay at some other place instead (yeah, I'm a whimp!)

The Y camp up there is nice. We could even stay in the cabbin with a ghost on the door. ;)

Yeah, no thanks. That book totally creeped me out. I read it when I was a young teen and haven't been able to read it since. I've watched the movie exactly once (my stepfather made us watch slasher movies all the time and that one was considered "wimpy") and can't imagine doing it again. It is, however, a lovely hotel.
